I do not want to teach out of an egoistic need, but rather, because it’s fun to teach. It’s the same reason people like to have kids, because it’s fun to teach the kid things and see them learn, purely for the pleasure of being useful to another human being.
Can anyone learn this and how long will it take?
Yes, anyone of any age can. As for how long is best expressed in an analogy.
In an arm wrestle or tug of war, the battle takes longer depending on the resistance. The more resistance, the longer it takes.
But if you are ready and sincerely willing to change, it will be quicker. It is a question of how fixed you are in your opinions and resistant to change, or closed minded, and how quickly you will adapt to the new thoughts I will present to you.
It’s not difficult or complicated, you simply have to test what I say to prove to yourself that it is true and then accept a change in your opinions and attitude to life.

As a student of David for some years, I have benefited hugely from his calm and objective way of viewing the world. The hysteria one reads about in the news, or the emotional swings of one’s colleagues or family are things that I have become better at understanding and not reacting so much too. He has taught me the power of not feeling alone, when you are alone you think all sorts of desperate thoughts and self-pity becomes more prevalent. He has helped me understand that we are all born with certain limitations and yet that need not stop us achieving far beyond our ‘destiny’. It’s this very calming dose of reality with the elation of knowing that we can control our own thoughts, and create our own joy; that we need not feel alone in this world. There are so many more things to share but to keep it brief, let me finish by saying many so-called teachers have come and few have delivered. David delivers.
Thank you Ande, that is very nice of you to say, I am glad I have been useful to you.
